For some reason, I got to thinking. What exactly is pepperoni? I thought I was pretty sure. I'm sure you probably think you know what animal it comes from too.
As it turns out, I was wrong. The things we don't know about what we eat...
Pepperoni is,
"...a spicy Italian-American variety of dry salami made of pork and beef. Pepperoni is a descendant of the spicy salamis of Southern Italy."So it's a mixture of two kinds of meat. It's seasoned with black and red pepper and then air dried.
And in fact, as it turns out, there are also other kinds of pepperoni available now. I guess I was naive. In fact, in my own refrigerator, I discovered we stock turkey pepperoni. So I guess it's just seasoned with pepperoni flavor. It's healthier, but technically not the real thing.

pepperoni is made of pork yes but the part of the pork is what matters, it's made of the pork's butt!!!
Thanks for this! My dog can't eat pork, so I NEEDED to know if I could share with him. -D
Honestly (no offence to those of you that do) but people should not eat pork. It is really bad for you, it even says in the bible that it is not good and shouldn't be eatten. In the Quaran (Muslim's holy book) pork is forbidden.
Thank you for this information, I didn't know it was made from pork, but I don't eat it anyway. :)
honestly keep your opinions to yourself thanks
Guess what? Pepperoni is made of...ground up animal parts! Pork, beef and poultry all ground up together and formed into thin, small, round circles of processed heaven! What's better yet, it's not even the good parts of the animals! It beaks and noses and hooves! Now, doesn't that just sound delicious? Yum yum!

Prove it about what Pepperoni is made of. What is your source!
I don't think I can eat it anymore!
Ahem. The New Testament allows us to eat what will sustain us. The same way that, through Jesus Christ, we may repent and be saved by His Grace, we may bless our food (even a nasty pig or deer, if we need to) and recieve it in Jesus' name. So in other words, where pork probably will kill your health, it won't send you to Hell unless you forget or refuse to pray.
And pepperoni is probably soy this day and age, guys!
Not to stir up a religious argument to anything. But no where in the NT is Jesus saying anything about allowing anyone (especially Jews) to eat pork. If you are a non-Jew and want to eat pork that is up to you. First of all Jesus/Yeshua was a Jewish Rabbi and would not have instructed anyone to break the commandments (Mt 5:17-20; Jn 14:15). As any Good Rabbi will do, Yeshua gets to the heart of the matter and brings people closer to God. If you look at other instances about Food and Yeshua he talked about religious observance and having a hard heart for tradition instead of walking in righteousness, specifically dirty hands and saying a blessing, not what you are eating. And finally, if you think that Paul said anything about keeping/not keeping the commands of God, I recommend you pick up the book "Paul Didn't Eat Pork" by Derek Leman
Is your dog Jewish?
1Tim. 4:4 For everything created by God is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with gratitude;
1Tim. 4:5 for it is sanctified by means of the word of God and prayer.
Acts 10:13-15. Look it up, the Lord said do not call anything I have created unclean. For those saying that it is in the bible saying not to eat pig, it IS in the bible but the new testament is where Jesus came in and changed everything for the better
